"The 10 Principles"Interactive, Educational Art for the playa
Up to 40% of participants at Burning Man are First-Time Burners. THIS IS GOOD! the more new people we can share the experience and the Ethos of Burning Man with, the better. The "Ten Principles" of Burning Man, as written by Co-founder Larry Harvey in 2004 define the Ethos of the community and the values we strive to promote beyond the Playa.
I would like to create sculptures of each of the “10 Principles” (plus the 11th - Consent, and one interpretive piece) and the Symbols created by Wick to be place at each hour of the Clock at some point on the playa, as a passive action to teach and reinforce the principles and ethos that is the foundation for this and many other events around the world.
THE TEAM
The 10 Princilpes team is made up of dedicated members of theme Camp Northwest Mist and other creatives from the Northwest Region of the US.

As Lead artist for "The 10 Principles Project" I hope you will support our vission of passive, interactive education through art on the playa. My Dream is to bring these and possibly other interactive pieces to the play and to regional events throughout the continent and beyond.
